Current Projects

EFS is a system that assists Tax Collectors in their duties to title and register vehicles in the State of Florida. It is a Government/Private Partnership with the Tax Collector supervising Franchised and Independent Automobile Dealers in issuing license plates, titles and registrations to car buyers at the point of sale.
The system provides for the dealership to electronically submit forms and fees to the Tax Collector and the Division of Motor Vehicles thereby saving time and money for the dealer and the motoring public.
After an RFP was advertised and a vendor selected, the Florida Tax Collectors Service Corporation in conjunction with the State's 67 County Tax Collectors drafted Performance Standards and Procedures. Our current vendor,CVR supplies the software to be used by the Automobile Dealer. The State Division of Motor Vehicles works with both the Tax Collectors and the vendor to coordinate the electronic filing.

This is another example of how Florida's Tax Collectors work with private businesses to enhance effciency and effectiveness of their offices. In turn the general public can remit their taxes and other fees with a lower convenience fee when paying by credit card, debit card or electronic check.
An RFP was advertised and Link2Gov was the vendor selected to provide the software bridge for this service. Taxpayers in Florida now have the opportunity of paying their taxes and other fees via the Internet or by telephone to many of the Tax Collector offices in the State.
